Today Brayden was taken off all oxygen and has been successfuly breathing perfectly on his own. His heart rate was also steadily between 150-170. He now only has a feeding tube in his nose and a line in in umbilical cord for easy blood draw. He was starting to get a little jaundice today so he had little sunbathing session in the afternoon. Doesn't he look so cool. They also upped his feeding from 4cc to 8cc every 4 hours. He is such an amazing little guy.
As for me it great finally being at home. Especially when we came home to a steak and potatoes meal cooked by dad. It was pretty tough leaving Brayden behind but I know he is getting the best care possible.
What a handsome young man he is (Brayden that is) :D Congratulations!!!! It sounds as tho he is doing phenomenal... keep up the good work buddy! You'll be in our thoughts and prayers! XO ~The Bennetts: Nathan, Julie & T
